You will always find there is lot of information about buying those sexy pieces of lingerie but few would give you hint about how to take care of them. Here are a few tips to help out in taking care of your precious lingerie.

As usual, first read the label on your lingerie that will tell you exactly how to wash and dry your item. If you see no label, then hand wash them with cold water or on the gentle cycle in washing machine. Then air dry them by hanging them up or use the air dry selection on your dryer. NEVER put them in the dryer on high heat this will damage the elastic. If you are in hurry then put it in the dryer on low heat or use a hair dryer also set on low.

Bra usually gets tangled in the wash, so to avoid this situation hook the eyelets and place them in a laundry bag. Don't place your bra in the dryer, just hang it up to air dry which will help it keep it shape and support longer. Always keep couple of bras in your lingerie drawer so that if you have washed all your daily bras you still have something too wear.

Stack your lingerie into two drawers, one for daily wear and the other for those sweet occasions. Separate your lingerie into two piles that way you know for sure what you wear everyday and the things that you only pull out when you what to look your very best.

To give your lingerie a sweet aroma after you have washed it, place a dryer sheet into the drawer. There is another way of keeping things fresh smelling is to place your favorite scent or potpourri or some naturally fragrant plant material into a small silk sachet and then place into that corner of drawer. This will certainly keep all your lingerie aromatic and fragrant.
