La Perla Releases a Bold New Fall Winter 2016 Collection and Ad Campaign Starring Models Lui Wen, Sasha Luss, and Valery Kaufman.
La Perla, a lingerie brand known for sultry, fashion focused feminine bedroom ensembles has a bold new look. Accompanying the new aesthetic is a sleek FW16 ad campaign starring supermodel Lui Wen. Back for her 6th season, Wen is accompanied by beauties Sasha Luss and Valery Kaufman introducing a new era for the European brand.
Instead of the expected sultry, silky, house wife must haves, La Perla, now under the direction of Pedro Lourenco delivers something more futuristic. Photographers Mert Alas and Marcus Pigott capture a collection that is abundant in minimal styling and architectural shapes. Lourenco was inspired by the designs of the famous Brazilian architect Oscar Niemeyer, the Edo period in Japan, and the German art movement Zero. The designer achieved his vision by utilizing tulle, PVC, sequins, and of course lace (because what is lingerie without lace?) to bring his vision to life.
Classic La Perla lovers need not fret. The brand has announced new arrivals in some of its most iconic silhouettes, like the La Perla Maison Classique Bustier or the ever so sensual La Perla Maison Robe.
