Gisele Bundchen has nothing but love for her kids as she gushes over them in her Instagram posts. Her latest, that of her in a yellow bikini holding her daughter is captioned “Happy Birthday, my sunshine. I am so lucky to be your mother!”.
Husband and father Tom Brady wrote, “Our sweet Girlie Girl turns 7. What a great year it has been. We love you Vivi.”
In pictures holding her son, Benjamin, she said, “Happy Birthday my little angel. I can’t believe you are 10! There’s never a dull moment when you are around.”
It’s no secret the gorgeous model and Super Bowl champion quarterback are incredibly family-oriented. But it hasn’t been an easy road for either. Bundchen said, “I had all this horrible, self-imposed guilt. I thought what a terrible mother I was for leaving my child even for like a day.”
She also admitted that the aftermath of becoming a parents was difficult on her. “When I became a mom, I kind of lost myself. It was like a part of me died. I’d been this very independent person. It was all about me. But now I had this little being, and I suddenly felt I couldn’t do other things and that was very hard for me. All I ever wanted was to be a mom, but when you’re actually experiencing that, it’s a shock.”
Brady sees how hard she works saying, “I married someone that…I know is my life partner. She’s just one of the most caring, nurturing people in the world.”
